AAI was incorporated in 2002 by its president, William J. Fulkerson, in response to the emerging need for more intelligence analysts.
With almost forty years in the field of intelligence analysis, Mr. Fulkerson developed and adapted key techniques for analysis, writing, and briefing into training and consulting services that support the efforts of analysts across the spectrum of local, state, and federal government agencies.
Development and delivery of these courses and consulting services is supported by a cadre of instructors and designers whose careers have established them as leaders in their fields of expertise. Their goal is to support the efforts of those who currently serve in analytic positions in the intelligence, military, business, and law enforcement communities.
In 2010, Analytic Advantage purchased Analytic Prowess, LLC, acquiring the rights to The Thinker's WorkshopTM, a training course encompassing many of the analytical structuring techniques contained in our Analytic Methods course. Also in 2010, AAI created thinkersworkshop.com and began developing online versions of several courses.
